When you wake up in the morning, What are your first actions?
What do you start your day with? Once you are done with breakfast and self care rituals, what do you do first?
do you leave the thing you prioritize for later? For After work? For when the dises are clean?
What is it you prioritize? What is it that makes you happy?
A lot of people (me included) think they Will sit down and read or meditate, or draw, or do their yoga practice « as soon as » the house is on order, « as soon as » the work or the choses are done.
But here’s the thing… it rarely is. And so your moment to do that one thing that makes you happy is postponed. And guess what.. we don’t feel happy!
First things first is about setting your intention, waking up a Little earlier or leaving the chores for later, to put self care as a priority.
As one of the first things you do in your day.
Let’s start our day with what matters to us. And do the things we should or have to do, when that is done.
Let’s turn it around..
If you feel a YES for that, and you need a Little push: Art journalling is a great morning practice. It’s a mix between a private journal and an Artist book. It takes a few minutes but you can enjoy it for as long as you wish. You choose.
It is a great tool « to put your garbage out » and to Connect with your inner creative force.
